How to Get Charizard
In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you have to catch and evolve a Charmander into Charmeleon and then into Charizard.
You can get Charmander after completing the game’s main storyline. To do that, you have to beat the current Elite Four and Cynthia. Once that is done, you will have to complete the Sinnoh Pokedex by seeing all 150 Pokémon.

Once you are done completing your Pokédex, go to Sandgem Town and meet with Professor Rowan. Talk to the professor, and you will unlock the National Pokédex required for spawning Charmander.
Now, make your way towards the Snowpoint City fight area by talking to the Sailor. Once you reach there, make use of the Explorer Kit to get access to the Grand Underground.
In the Grand Underground, you will find Charmander. Catch it and use a Rare Candy on the Charmander to evolve him into a Charmeleon. If you are out of Rare Candy, simply use the Charmander to fight wild Pokémon to raise his level.

Once you get Charmeleon, you can follow the same steps to evolve him into a Charizard.
