In this guide, we will explain how you can get and equip Layered Armor in Monster Hunter Rise.

Layered Armor is a cosmetic item players can use in Monster Hunter Rise to give their Armor a unique look. And thus, we have the option to use Layered Armor to give the Armor a new appearance while holding the stats of the original.

In Monster Hunter Rise, you can get Layered Armor from DLCs, by scanning Amiibo, buying special editions of the game, forging some of them at the Smithy, and other such methods.

If you scan the Magnamalo Amiibo, you will get its corresponding Layered Armor which you can add to your inventory by talking to the NPC Kagero the Merchant.

Note: You must talk to Kagero to get Layered Armor or other items in-game after scanning their respective Amiibo.

On the other hand, if you unlock a Layered Armor through a DLC or such options, you must talk to the NPC Senri to claim them.

Once you have at least one Layered Armor, you will unlock the Layered Armor Settings in your Item Box. Afterward, you can simply make your way to the Kamura Village and interact with the Item Box or a Buddy Board.

You will find the “Change Layered Armor” option in the list of menus. Select the Layered Armor you want to equip and confirm to save changes.

And that is it. Your Armor will get the appearance of the selected Layered Armor while offering the same stats and benefits that the original Armor provided.

That concludes our guide on how to get and equip Layered Armor in Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise is available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and PC platforms.
