Spinip is hard to find because it is a small plant with only its tony green leaves poking out from its growing place. It actually has a purple root which can be seen when your have some in your inventory, or if you ook extra close before you pick it.

If you are looking for Spinip to use in a recipe or to give as a gift to one of your island friends, you might be having a bit of trouble getting hold of it. This is due to its small size as well as the fact it only grows in a small area of the map, and not in huge quantities!
The best place to go to get Spinip is Spooky Swamp. Walk around the swampy ponds and look for small blueish-green leaves poking out, with a purple root under the water. If you think you spot Spinip, approach it and a hand icon will appear. Tap the hand icon to pick the Spinip and keep it in your inventory for later recipes!
