In Hello Kitty Island Adventure there is so much to see and do, and lots of new friends to meet! Every day is full of new surprises, tasks to complete, delicious treats to bake and share, and useful items and gadgets to craft. As you play you will be asked to craft fun and exciting things that you and your new friends will need to expand the paradise island. If you are wondering how on earth you can make everything you need to live and work on the abandoned island, we are here to help! How to Craft Items in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

When you first start exploring the resort you will notice various objects lying around that shine as you walk by. These items can be picked up and placed in your Inventory, a bag that could easily belong to Mary Poppins, with a seemingly endless capacity! Don’t be afraid to just pick up anything and everything you come across as this may prove useful later on when a character asks you to complete a task or craft an item using things you can find around the island.

Not everything you need to craft with can be found randomly, however, and some things can be gained by completing other tasks, giving Gifts to characters, or speaking to them about your task. You will also need Crafting Plans which are instructions on how to make the item in question. These come from the character offering you the task of crafting the item, from Chests hidden around the island, or by completing other tasks. Once you have the Crafting Plans you can make that item whenever you like as long as you have all the materials.

To craft the item visit Chococat’s tent which is located to the Northeast of the Resort. You can get there quicker by using Fast Travel to the Resort Gate. Approach the Crafting Table and tap the Hammer Icon on the right to bring up the Crafting Menu. Here you can see all the Crafting Plans you have unlocked, and each one tells you what items you need to gather, and which items you already have.

If at any point you are wondering why you haven’t got the plans for an item you think you will need soon make sure you have completed your tasks and explored the entire area for any hidden chests which may contain the plans. Hello Kitty Island Adventure is surprisingly linear to start with, especially for an open-world life sim, and many of the time Crafting Plans are given to you once you are ready to unlock a new area or learn how to do a new activity like swimming and fishing. Don’t rush, and just work through leveling up friendships and completing tasks as you go!
