How to Beat Dark Ages Warden Challenge – Clash of Clans Guide

Clash of Clans has added a new event called Dark Ages Warden challenge to promote the new Dark Ages Warden skin and scenery. With every new skin comes a new challenge, allowing players to test it out for free. By clearing the challenge with three stars, you can earn 400 XP, 25 gems, and a resource potion. In this guide, we will share a simple and easy strategy to help you beat the Dark Ages Warden Challenge and get the rewards.

Clash of Clans: Dark Ages Warden Challenge

In this challenge, players have to raid a Townhall 15 base with 15 monoliths, 2 inferno towers, and 2 scattershots. This might sound intimidating, as monolith is the most powerful and broken defense in Clash of Clans. But there’s no need to worry, as this event provides the perfect army for countering the monolith group.

Here is the list of troops and spells provided in Dark Ages Warden challenge:

• 1 Healer
• 2 Super Valkyrie
• 8 Valkyrie
• 2 Witch
• 10 Ice Golem
• Lvl 60 Grand Warden
• 3 Clone spell
• 2 Recall spell
• 1 Skeleton spell

To beat this challenge, our strategy is to perform a Grand Warden walk on one scattershot and then recall the hero using Recall spell and use it to destroy the other scattershot and finally push into the core of the base using the rest of the army. Follow these detailed steps to beat Dark Ages Warden challenge:

1) Destroy the clan castle

Use the Skeleton spell on the clan castle to destroy it slowly but surely. As skeletons spawned by the Skeleton spell do not trigger clan castle troops, we can safely destroy this building.

2) Start Grand Warden walk

Now, you must deploy Grand Warden (Ground mode) on either the left or right Dragon trophy, followed by a Healer. Then, drop a Clone spell on the single Healer to clone it. Deploy a Valkyrie to start cleaning builder huts. After both inferno tower and scattershot go down, use Recall spell to call back the Grand Warden and Healers.

Repeat the same strategy on the other side to get the second inferno tower and scattershot. Use the Clone spell to create more clones of Healer and then recall them after inferno tower and scattershot go down.

3) Create a funnel using Valkyries

Drop one Valkyrie on both sides, have them move towards the south, and destroy builder huts. This will create a funnel for the rest of the army.

4) Push into the core

Deploy all Ice Golems in the space in the south of the base. As they move toward monoliths, deploy all Super Valkyries, Witches, and Valkyries. Also, deploy the Grand Warden we picked up earlier using the Recall spell. Use Grand Warden’s ability as Ice Golems reach the core. Use the last Clone spell on Valkyries when your army needs help.
