Clash of Clans can be a competitive and cutthroat game, and it’s best to keep your troops and home village a step ahead of others at all times. Attacking other villages and earning 3-star raids can significantly boost your trophies and also provide great loot. The troops you use play an important role and can decide the fate of the match. Supercell introduced a new kind of troops called Super troops in Clash of Clans to add more variety and allow players to amp up their gameplay. But what are Super Troops in Clash of Clans?

What Are Super Troops in Clash of Clans?
Super Troops were added to Clash of Clans with the Spring 2020 update and are a more powerful version of your existing units, available for a limited time. You will need a Town Hall 11 to activate them or can get them as a troop donation. Once activated, Super Troops can be trained in the Army training menu. You will need Dark Elixir to activate a Super Troop and they can be trained with the same resource as the regular version of the troop.
However, you only can activate 2 Super Troops simultaneously, and you can use the Super Potion to activate a Super Troop for free. Once your Troop has been Supered, that Super Troop is available for one week and will not be removed from the Army Camps when they expire. After expiration, you will not be able to use the same Super Troop again for another 7 days. Currently, only four units be upgraded (Super Barbarian, Sneaky Goblin, Super Wall Breaker, and Super Giant), although new types of Super Troops are planned to arrive in future updates.
