The location itself is filled with different spikes, buzzsaws, and difficult parkour sections. So, you should go to the Path of Pain only if you are an experienced player who is not afraid of challenges.

How to Access the Path of Pain in Hollow Knight
As we mentioned before, the Path of Pain can be accessed from the White Palace. However, the entrance to the location is hidden and you will need to find it. Fortunately, it is relatively easy and the only thing you need to do is to unlock the second elevator in the White Palace.
After that, you will have to use the second elevator, pass through the section with spikes, and enter the room with a buzzsaw. There you will need to break a secret wall. You can see its location in the screenshot above this paragraph.
