Rifthounds are a new type of enemies introduced to Genshin Impact with version 2.2 update. At current, there are four different variants of Rifthounds, namely Rockfond Rifthound, Rockfond Rifthound Whelp, Thundercraven Rifthound, and Thundercraven Rifthound Whelp. That player can find and farm for weapon ascension materials called Concealed Talon and its higher variants.

Where to Find Rifthounds
Players can find Rifthounds in the boundaries of Tsurumi Island of Inazuma archipelago.
South of Waukukau Shaol is one of the best locations to find the different versions of Rifthounds.
North of Autake Planes is another good location to find a lot of Rifthounds in one place.

With the help of the above Genshin Impact map, you can form a farming route for Rifthounds. We recommend players begin farming Rifthound from the South of Waukukau Shaol.
Best Farming Route for Rifthounds
Teleport to the waypoint located south of Waukukau Shaol, kill all the Rifthounds, and then teleport to Waukukau Shaol waypoint.

Follow the west coastline and defeat the Rifthounds that you encounter in your way. When you reach the Northmost part of Tsurumi Island, teleport to the Statue of Seven and make your way towards the Chirai Shrine.
There you will find another pack of Rifthounds. Defeat them and then teleport to Moshiri Ceremonial Site teleport waypoint, to farm more Rifthounds.
