Genshin Impact has brought a myriad of new content with version 2.2 “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog” update. Players finally get access to the last island of Inazuma called Tsurumi, a Hu Tao and Childe re-run, new four-star character Thoma, a plentitude of new events, quests, puzzles, a few new enemies, weapons, and much more.

Unlike other islands of the Inazuma archipelago, players cannot explore Tsurumi Island from the get-go. To unlock the island, players have to complete pre-requisites and they have to take on a world quest that takes them to Tsurumi Island.

In this Genshin Impact guide, we will talk about how players can unlock Tsurumi Island.

To unlock Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact, players must have completed the “Seirai Stormchasers” world quest. Granted, you have already completed the aforementioned quest. Open your quest tab, and look for the Through the Mist world quest. It will be available there.

In the first part of the quest called A Particularly Particular Author, you have to Talk to Inazuma Katheryne. She will tell you about the commission related to Tsurumi Island.

Once you have talked to Katheryne, go and meet with Sumida. She will tell you about the commission.

Exhaust her dialogues, and she will ask you to meet up with an NPC called Kama. He will take you to Tsurumi Island.

Once you have reached Tsurumi Island, complete the sub-objective “Travel to Tsurumi Island.” After doing that, you will unlock 75% of Tsurumi Island. To remove fog and unlock the remaining parts of Tsurumi Island, you have to complete the Through the Mist world quest.
