To get the Octave of Maushiro quest, players have to complete A Particularly Particular Author world quest. Then wait for the daily reset. Doing so will automatically trigger Octave of Maushiro world quest. And, players can view it in the quest log—under the World Quests section.

• Travel to Tsurumi Island
• Talk to Ruu
  • Obtain Peculiar Pinion
• Go to your destination and use the feather
• Talk to the illusions
• Try to look for buried objects
  • Obtain Maushiro
• Go to the ceremonial site
• Listen in on the locals’ conversations (0/3)
  • In this section of the quest, just talk to the illusions present in the Ceremonial Site to progress the quest.
• Go to Wakukau Shoal
