Kamisato Ayato, the head of Kamisato Clan and big brother of Genshin Impact’s playable five-star character, Ayaka, is finally becoming a playable character himself.

Last year, we got leaks that shed some light on Kamisato Ayato’s element, the weapon of choice, and his abilities. Though, we were uncertain about his release date. 

Now, months later, we finally have leaked information on Kamisato Ayato’s banner release date in Genshin Impact. 

In this Genshin Impact article, we talk about the possible release date for Kamisato Ayato’s character event wish banner. 

When is Kamisato Ayato Coming Out?

According to Genshin Impact leaker and data-miner, Lumie, Kamisato Ayato will release as a playable character in the first half of the Genshin Impact 2.6 update. 

In terms of appearance, Ayato’s character design draws a lot of resemblance to Zhongli and his sister Ayaka.

That aside, as a playable unit, Kamisato Ayato is supposedly a five-star character and a Hydro user whose weapon of choice is a Polearm. Some data-mined information also suggests that Ayato’s abilities are somewhat similar to Childe’s—as he can also change his stance to make weaponry made of pure water, dealing Hydro DMG to surrounding opponents.
