Genshin Impact Housing: Players Can Have Different Background Settings for Teapot, New Realm Currency

With new Genshin Impact leaks surfacing each day, we have plenty of information regarding the future content(subject to change). Genshin Impact’s housing system, which is supposed to be added with the version 1.5 update has got new details leaked. In one of our previous article, we talked about the housing system may get implemented on a remote island. While we do not have confirmation on that, we do have something similar. Genshin Impact housing system offers multiple backgrounds to make players feel like they are in a wide-open area with different settings. The housing system will also introduce a new currency called Realm Currency.

After the Rampant leaks on Genshin Impact 1.5 update on March 16, 2021, miHoYo released an official statement on the leaks. They started taking action on people leaking future content. While the major leakers like Lumie, Genshin Intel and others did disable their Twitter account. We still have few people who have managed to get new information on the upcoming Genshin Impact updates.

In the above Tweet from user Zeniet, you can see the housing system offers different background settings that are unique in design. When the housing system will release in Genshin Impact, it will offer a total of three background settings that players can buy using a new currency called Realm Currency(the name is subject to change).

The Teapot background that offers serene scenery with mountains and clouds is available for 3200 Realm Currency.

How players can get Realm Currency?

There is no leaked or official information on Realm Currency. However, Genshin Impact being a gacha game, players may have to buy realm currency using real money. Or, miHoYo can implement in-game ways to get Realm Currency.

For now, we can only speculate as there is not much information in this end. We will update this article, if any new information comes regarding the housing system background or realm currency.
