Speaking in a recent interview with French website Jeuxvideo, translated by Serenes Forest, Fire Emblem Three Houses developer Intelligent Systems’ director Toshiyuki Kusakihara revealed that it took him 80 hours to complete a single story path.

To complete the game with just one of the three houses, it took me 80 hours. I did not skip the dialogue or cutscenes, of course. So if you want to do the three paths, it can take you more than 200 hours.

Intelligent Systems experimented with multiple story paths with Fire Emblem Fates, so it will be interesting to see how they created the same experience with Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Fire Emblem Three Houses launches later this month, on July 26th, exclusively on Nintendo Switch in all regions.
