Farlight 84 is the cool new survival shooter game that goes beyond the everyday battle royale. It was announced in November 2020 and is expected to roll out in 2021. Currently, the game is running open testing in some select regions.
The new v11.6.2 update has brought in new modes, new Capsulers, new skins, and new vehicles. The performance and controls have been tweaked and optimized. Here’s a short rundown of all the new stuff added to Farlight 84.
Farlight 84: What’s new in the v11.6 update?
Let’s start with the two new Capsulers – Arc and Bulldog. Arc is an Energy Station Master and obviously, his special abilities are something related to Energy.
Meanwhile, Bulldog, very much as the name suggests, is a Brawler by profession. Needless to say, his trait-type is ‘fight’.
Under the ‘Fun Mode’ category, two new modes have been introduced – Team Deathmatch District and Training mode. The Training grounds can be unlocked at level 4 and Deathmatch is accessible at level 5. Apart from this, there’s a new system called ‘Sancton’wherein players can build their own world after battles.
The popular character Ducksyde is about to get a cool makeover with the Starry Wanderer and the Pink Duck. Farlight 84 has eight new skins to the game.
If you thought Crabby was bizarre, then the game has another surprise for you. Mecha vehicle fanatics will be delighted with the new Jaeger. It’s a bipedal mecha vehicle that will run across the map.
Talking about the vehicles, the all-time favorite Seiryu can now turn invisible with the Stealth Mode!
Control Optimization and More
Several players complained about the heavy recoil, vehicle performance, and more. Taking into account all the feedback, the v11.6 update has reworked some of the aspects.
The weapon recoil has been reduced significantly, so now aiming and firing is easier and faster. The same goes for the vehicles, wherein the devs have made it more realistic. In fact, to drift, you can long-press the brake.
The heating issues have been resolved, memory is better optimized, and the stabilized frame rate delivers a smoother gaming experience.
Players from India, Indonesia, Brazil, France, and a few other regions can get the early access version of Farlight 84 on the Google Play Store.
