Dragon Ball FighterZ received excellent post-launch support on all platforms, with several DLC characters released last year. Variety, sadly, is low, as there are a lot of different versions of Son Goku, but if you haven’t had enough of playing as him, you will be happy to know that you will soon be able to play as his ultimate form.
The latest issue of V-Jump magazine confirmed that Ultra Instinct Goku is the next DLC character coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ. This form has been introduced in Dragon Ball Super and it is, effectively, Goku’s most powerful transformation.
The magazine doesn’t tell much about the character, but it confirms that more will come next month during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals, which will be held on February 8th and 9th in Paris, France.
As already mentioned, Ultra Instinct Goku is just one of the many different versions of Goku available in Dragon Ball FighterZ. The base game included Super Saiyan Goku as well as Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, and other forms have been added through DLC, such as Base Goku and Kid Goku from Dragon Ball GT. As such, the addition of another Goku feels like a missed opportunity.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on Nintendo Switch. The game is also available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
