The Nintendo Switch entry in the series has been announced a while back, but we have seen very little of it since its original announcement. This ended today, thankfully, as new off-screen gameplay footage emerged online, showcasing some of the new exercises as well as the stylus that will be sold alongside the retail version of the game.

You can check out the new footage below, courtesy of GameXplain.

The new Brain Age game will take advantage of the Nintendo Switch unique feature to offer an engaging experience, like the Joy-Con IR sensor, online competitions, a two players versus mode on the same console and more.

Due to the nature of some of the exercises, however, some of them will not be compatible with the Nintendo Switch Lite. It is not yet clear if owning a pair of Joy-Cons will allow players to enjoy all of the exercises on the portable-only revision of the console, but we will surely learn more about the matter closer to release.

Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training for Nintendo Switch launches in the West on January 3rd, 2020.
