DOOM Eternal is launching on Nintendo Switch next week, after a rather long wait. As the game only releases digitally on the eShop, knowing how big the file size actually is is as important as readying your weapons before launching a war against a demon horde.
In a new interview with Nintendo Life, developer Panic Button confirmed that DOOM Eternal on Nintendo Switch will be 17.5GB big, which is a little smaller than the 22.0 GB file size of the previous entry in the series.
Given how the Nintendo Switch’s internal storage is so small, it is likely you will need an SD card to install the game on your console. Thankfully, prices are extremely low, so it would be a very small investment, in case you need one.
DOOM Eternal on Nintendo Switch comes with all the content released for the other versions of the game as well as gyro aiming controls that can be used alongside the control stick for a nice blend of immersion and fun.
DOOM Eternal launches on Nintendo Switch on December 8. The game will only be available digitally.
