There was a time when Japanese games took a few months, if not even years, to release in North America and Europe. Nowadays, however, this isn’t happening anymore, as worldwide simultaneous releases have become a thing for most tripla AAA titles. Unfortunately, the challenges in localization a role-playing game haven’t changed, so there are still games that take some time to release in the West following their Japanese release.
This is the case with Disgaea 6 – Defiance of Destiny, the latest entry in the popular tactical role-playing game series developed by Nippon Ichi. The game launched in January in Japan, and Western fans will have to wait until June to get their hands on the game.
Late June, to be precise, as Disgaea 6 – Defiance of Destiny launches on June 29 in North America and Europe. The release date has been confirmed with a new trailer that you can check out below.
Disgaea 6 – Defiance of Destiny will come with tons of new features not seen in previous entries in the series, such as the option to speed up battles, improved auto-battle, and more.
