Disgaea 6 – Defiance of Destiny Battle Speed, Auto-Battle Mode Detailed

As every Disgaea fan knows well, grinding in the series can be very time-consuming. With mechanics that let players reset the level of units back to level 1 to increase stats further and further, any true Disgaea fan will end up spending hundreds of hours creating the perfect unit that can devastate the battlefield and survive the most challenging secret boss. The long hours of grinding, however, will become a thing of the past in Disgaea 6 – Defiance of Destiny.

Japanese magazine Famitsu recently revealed that the game will come with battle speed options that will allow players to speed up battles by 2,4,8,16,32 times the regular game speed. This means that it is possible to clear entire maps in a very short time.

Famitsu also confirmed that players will be able to tweak the AI for the auto-battle mode, allowing them to customize the battle behavior of any unit. Coupled with the new battle speed options, grinding will be effortless this time around.

Disgaea 6 – Defiance of Destiny releases on Nintendo Switch sometime during Summer 2021.
