The Disgaea series has managed to become one of the most popular RPG series in the West, thanks to its wacky characters and gameplay mechanics, which are just as outrageous as characters and settings. The definitive edition of the latest entry in the series, Disgaea 4 Complete+, is now available on Nintendo Switch, and those who are interested in just trying the game without committing to a full purchase can now get a taste of its experience right now for free.
NIS America confirmed today that a Disgaea 4 Complete+ playable demo is currently available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The demo includes the first chapter of the game, and it is possible to bring over progress to the full release.

Disgaea 4 Complete+ is the definitive edition of the original Disgaea 4 Complete. It includes all the content available for the original release, including every additional scenario, character, and DLC. Some gameplay tweaks which aim to make the experience better and more enjoyable are also included.
Disgaea 4 Complete+ also received a special edition called the HL-Raising Edition, which includes a poster, an OST CD, the Official Hardcover Artbook, a bookmark and a collector’s box. A less rich, but no less wacky, edition called “A Promise of Sardines” edition, which includes a bookmark, a double-sided poster and a reversible cover, has also been released.
Disgaea 4 Complete+ is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide.
