I must be honest with you: I hate the Pufflers in Candy Crush Jelly Saga, more than anything else in the game (yes, even more than the Jelly Queen herself!). They move too much and have a soft spot about finding cover in the hardest to get places, resulting in me replaying Puffler levels more than any other type of level. But these levels are not impossible and I am here to share with you a bunch of tips and tricks on how to easily get all Pufflers in Candy Crush Jelly Saga to complete their levels without losing too many lives.
Yes, it is all doable with a bit of strategy and strategy is what we’re going to talk about here. So let’s not waste a single second and let’s see how to get Pufflers easily in Candy Crush Jelly Saga!
1. Learn how the Pufflers work
These annoying little cuties love to hide behind frosting. So if there’s enough frosting on the board, they will keep on hiding. In other words, if you complete a move and reveal a bit of a Puffler without completely removing it from the board, it will hide again if there is frosting available. So you really have to plan your moves and have a solid strategy, or else they’ll keep going to more and more difficult to reach places!
2. Start by removing the frosting
Having in mind everything that we said at #1, it makes sense that we should start by removing frosting on the board without necessarily revealing the Pufflers right now. What we want to do first is to remove the frosting in the difficult to reach places (like corners) in order to prevent the creatures from hiding there when we start revealing them. Remember: even if there’s enough frosting for the Pufflers to hide, if you interrupt the route, the Puffler won’t move. They can only move in uninterrupted areas of frosting!
3. Spot the Pufflers!
You can see them under the frosting when a level starts, so take a few moments and find where they all are. This makes it a lot easier for you to plan ahead and now what frosting to remove first. If they’re already in a corner or a hard to reach place, it’s a good strategy to actually try to reveal a bit of them and force them to move around. Always try to outsmart them!
4. Watch for movement!
Pufflers make quite some noise when moving on the board and it’s easy for you to follow their trail: just look at the frosting they’re shaking and you’ll know exactly where they’re heading and where they’re hiding next!
5. Use the special candy!
Special candy is special. That’s not just a funny statement, it’s true in any game mode, including those where you have to find the Pufflers: try to get as much special candy as possible and use it to your advantage to get those cute, but annoying creatures fast. Remember: if you manage to completely reveal the Puffler, even if there’s a ton of frosting left on the board, you’ll collect it – so striped candies come in very handy!
