King has released a new Candy Crush game, one that challenges us to spread the jelly (which sounds really… interesting if you have a dirty mind). Candy Crush Jelly Saga is the name of the game and you are getting exactly what you’re getting from other games delivered by King, but for some reason you have to play this one too. I know because I’ve been there and I can’t really explain why it’s like a drug. I do believe that this particular game is extremely challenging and it definitely is one that is aimed at veteran Candy Crush saga players, but for everybody some extra Candy Crush Jelly Saga cheats: tips and tricks to get 3 stars in all levels won’t hurt.

1. Spreading the jelly
One of the biggest changes brought by some of the levels is that you have to spread the jelly instead of removing it (and there are some nice battles against the Queen when you do so). In order to spread the Jelly, you need to make a match with tiles that already have jelly, but be careful not to spread those of the Queen! Also, for the particular versus levels, it makes sense to try and get special candies as often as possible (even if you don’t spread the jelly with that move): make three special moves by matching 4 or square shaped candy and you will get a super-powered match that will fill the board with your jelly!

2. Match at the bottom
The general Rule of Thumb goes with Candy Crush Jelly Saga as well: try making matches at the bottom or as close to the bottom of the board as possible in order to get potential combo moves from falling candy.

3. Save the Jelly Fish
The extremely useful Jelly Fish make a comeback in this game, and they are extremely useful because, once used in the match, they will go and remove one hard to get or important candy on the board. Ideally, you should wait and use them in the later stages of the game to get the most out of them and hit those spots that are really difficult to get to. Remember: you get jelly fish by matching candies in a square-shape.

4. Always go for the special candy
It’s not just the Jelly Fish that is extremely useful, other types of special candy can really help you win and three star each level: when you match 4 in a row you get a striped candy that removes an entire row or column; matching 5 tiles creates a cookie tile that, once matched with a candy, removes all those colors from the board (or match it with another special candy for a real blast!) and finally the wrapped candy, created from T or L matches – it explodes in a 3×3 area. Combining these special candies usually improves their effect, so don’t rush to use them as soon as you get them and instead wait for the right time.

5. Learn to use the striped candy
For a long while I had no idea how striped candy works, but it’s really easy, actually: look a the direction of the stripes, and you will know if the given candy will remove a column or a row. This is extremely useful to know!

6. Get more lives easily
Now you no longer need Facebook friends to play the game in order to get lives: King somehow pairs you with a bunch of random players and you can exchange lives with them, even if you’re not connected on Facebook. Just ask for lives from them all and you will definitely get quite a few for free. Don’t forget to send lives as well to keep this going!

7. Strategize!
As I said, Candy Crush Jelly Saga is extremely difficult and clearly a game for veteran players. One important thing you have to do each time you start a new level is to strategize: analyze the board, find the best matches and take your time. You have a limited number of moves and things are really difficult. Plan ahead and you will have more chances to win the game and three star it!
