As spotted by Charlie Intel, a new job ad from the publisher for an Executive Producer strongly hints at the development for Call of Duty Warzone mobile, mentioning that this person will have to “harvest, adapt and deliver the essential features from Warzone console and PC into their best mobile instantiation.

This Executive Producer will also have to improve the Call of Duty Warzone formula and work on features that will take advantage of mobile devices’ features to offer the best experience possible, so it seems like the mobile version will not be a straight port, which definitely wouldn’t work as well on mobile devices as it does on PC and consoles.

Given how battle royale games are popular on iOS and Android, it’s not surprising to learn that Activision is aiming to enter the market with its flagship battle royale title. How it will compare to the excellent Call of Duty mobile remains to be seen, but there’s no denying that some excellent times are ahead for Call of Duty fans all over the world.
