Best Perrserker Moveset – Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Perrserker is one of those Pokémon that cannot be hunted down in Scarlet and Violet. Your only chance of getting one is to evolve your Galarian Meowth received after four friendship events involving your teacher Salvatore at the Academy.

At level 28, Galarian Meowth will evolve and give you this Steel-type Pokémon that can be a valuable asset in battles if you equip it with a good move combo.

Best Perrserker Moves in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

If you’re planning on using your Perrserker in Tera Raids after completing the main storyline, you should consider teaching it these moves:

• Taunt
• Iron Head
• Helping Hand
• Screech

Taunt can be learned either by leveling up (at level 20) or via TM 087, which you get after defeating the Team Star Fighting Crew. This move limits your opponent to use only Attack moves for three turns.

Iron Head is an Evolution-based move for Perrserker, but you can also get it via TM 099 after defeating the Team Star Fairy Crew. It allows you to headbutt the opponent and possibly leave it flinching.

Extremely useful when playing with allies, Helping Hand (TM 130) will do wonders for the attack power of your allies’ Pokémon by boosting it by 50%. You can obtain TM 130 by going to a cliff that overlooks a Pokémon Center in South Province (Area Three), but keep in mind that this is doable after you get the High Jump ability for your mount.

Screech is learned when your Perrserker reaches level 36, and this is another valuable move when using Perrserker as support in raids with allies. This move lowers the opponent’s Defense stats by two stages.

Best Perrserker Ability and Held Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Perrserker’s best ability is the hidden ability called Steely Spirit, which you can obtain with the Ability Patch (from six-star Tera Raids). This ability will increase the damage of all Steel-type moves by your or your allies’ Pokémon by 50%, and it will work if there are three Perrserkers in the team.

You can improve your Perrserker’s build even further by adding Metal Coat as a held item to boost Steel-type moves some more.
