Apex Legends is releasing on Nintendo Switch in the future, but when exactly the battle royale game developed by Respawn is going to launch, no one can say, as an official announcement has been made. Last week, a Japanese trailer suggested that the game will be released in early February, and today a new listing seems to confirm this release date.

As spotted by Go Nintendo, an Apex Legends – Champion Edition is currently listed on Amazon Japan with a February 2 release date, the same release date revealed last week. Pre-orders are also live, so it seems like an announcement is expected shortly, as we are only one week away from this rumored release date.

Apex Legends has been announced a while back for Nintendo Switch. The game was originally supposed to release in 2020, but EA and Respawn delayed the game to a yet to be confirmed release date. Let us hope February 2 is indeed the day Nintendo Switch owners will be able to start experiencing one of the most popular battle royale games around.
