The Agents are a special type of enemy in Genshin Impact who belong to one of the antagonist clans “The Fatui“. They are further classified into different categories based on the element they possess. As of now, we have only one type of Agent in Genshin Impact, namely the Pyro Agent who is found all across the Liyue region of Teyvat.

The Fatui agent may not fight in groups like the Fatui Skirmishers, they also don’t possess elemental shields. But, they do have special abilities like invisibility, critical strikes, etc that completely fit with their job – “Settling Debts“.

Being a roleplaying game, Genshin Impact also offers a surfeit amount of unique crafting material, items, upgrade materials, etc that have their own level of importance. Each enemy in Genshin Impact drops some sort of item – whether it be a crafting item, artifacts, upgrade materials, or anything else. Similarly, the Agents drop the following items based on their level.
- Fatui Pyro Agent LVL 1+ – Human’s Sacrificial Knife, Recruit’s Insignia, and artifacts(berserker, traveling doctor, exile, etc)
- Fatui Pyro Agent LVL 40+ – Agent’s Sacrificial Knife, Sergeant’s Insignia, and artifacts(berserker, traveling doctor, exile, etc)
- Fatui Pyro Agent LVL 60+ – Inspector’s Sacrificial Knife, Lieutenant’s Insignia, and artifacts(berserker, traveling doctor, exile, etc)

The aforementioned Insignias are used to ascend some of the best characters of Genshin Impact, like Diluc, Tartaglia, and Ningguang. Meanwhile, the sacrificial knife’s are major ascension items used for ascending weapons.

As of now, there are eight known locations across the Liyue region in Genshin Impact where players can encounter the Fatui Pyro Agents, also referred to as Agents or Fatui Agents.
Location 1.) Mingyun Village, Liyue
Found in the cliffs – North East of the Mingyun Village.
Location 2.) Yaoguang Shaol, Liyue
Location 3.) Guyun Stone Forest, Liyue
Location 4.) Luhua Pool, Liyue
Location 5.) Dunyu Ruins, Liyue
Location 6.) West of Dunyu Ruins
Location 7.) Qingxu Pool, Liyue
Location 8.) On the Cliffs – Lingju Pass, Liyue
Alternatively, players can open the Adventurer’s Handbook and navigate to bosses –> Fatui Agents.
In the Fatui Agents window, they can click on navigate to pinpoint the location of an agent in Genshin Impact.
