Genshin Impact’s Spectral Secrets expedition event is currently underway. Each day, players can choose between S, A, and B rank expeditions, select dispatch members, and send a party on selected expeditions to get a variety of rewards.

The S-Rank expeditions in Genshin Impact’s Spectral Secrets event are special and offer the most rewards. To dispatch a party on the S-Rank expedition, players first have to conduct a Preliminary Investigation where they have to light three Electric Pillars and then defeat a given number of Specters.
On Day 3 of the Spectral Secrets event, the Preliminary Investigation area is near Chinju Forest. In this guide, we will share the location of all three Electric Lamps that you have to light up to progress the investigation.
Spectral Secrets Preliminary Investigation Day 3 “The Purge”
To complete Day 3 “The Purge” Spectral Secrets Preliminary Investigation, players have to:
- Find and charge three Electric Lamps using Electrograna.
- Defeat nine Specters.
The Electric Lamp is made of stone stacked upon one another. You can find them using Elemental Sight.

Chinju Forest Electric Lamps Location
As we mentioned earlier, the third-day Preliminary Investigation will take you to Chinju Forest. Once you arrive there, you have to find and light up three Electric Lanterns.
The first Electric Lantern is located near one of the shrines. You can check the above screenshot for reference.
The second Electric Lantern is located in the middle of the river, above a rock.
The third Electric Lantern is located straight from the second Electric Lantern. Look beside a tree, near the stairs that lead to the Kamisato Estate.
Once you light up all three Electric Lamps, you have to defeat nine Specters. Doing so will complete the day 3 preliminary investigation.
