It has been some time since we heard anything about Bravely Default II, the third entry in the JRPG series by Square Enix. Following a Nintendo Direct presentation and a demo release, the game completely disappeared from our radars, but it seems like something new on it may emerge soon.
Bravely Default II has been recently rated in Australia, as reported by VGC. The game received a Mature rating due to its themes and violence. The game will also feature some online interactivity of sorts.
Video games usually get rated way in advance of their actual release, so it’s unlikely that Bravely Default II will be released before the end of the year, also considering that the current pandemic messed up the development schedule of pretty much every major game.
At the same time, the fact that it has been rated may suggest that new information on the game may be coming soon.
Bravely Default II is, as already mentioned, the third entry in the series, and it will come with the same great features we have seen in the 3DS games, like the flexible job system and the turn-based battle system that lets players store turns or use turns in advance to unleash powerful special attacks.
Bravely Default II is now in development for Nintendo Switch. It will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date.
