Britney Spears: American Dream has just been launched on the App Store by Glu Games, challenging you once again to become a superstar, a famed singer, sell a ton of records, make friends, date celebrities and be able to eventually yell “the world is mine!” It is true that the game looks, feels and plays a lot like Kim Kardashian: Hollywood or the more recent Kendall and Kylie, but there are a few new mechanics and goodies that make it, in my opinion, the best game of this type available right now. And I am here to share with you a bunch of Britney Spears: American Dream cheats and tips that will help you progress through the game faster, get a ton of fans quickly and sell the most records in order to win your awards.

1. Start events with a full energy bar
Every major event (concerts, interviews and so on) will need you to spend a ton of energy in order to get the most out of them. So, no matter how eager you are to just jump in and progress through the game, it’s best to just wait to get that energy bar full before starting such a mission. Getting the maximum number of stars is vital if you want to perform at your best, because this is the way to get the most out of the mission itself. So always start with a full energy bar, use it and return in 30 minutes or so to complete the mission if one energy bar’s not enough.

2. Higher energy events are better
If you have the option to choose between an action that costs 5 energy and one that’s just 1 energy, go for the first because chances are you’ll get more stars per energy: it’s usual to get 6 stars from 5 energy events, but I never got more than 1 star for 1 energy events. However, micromanage your energy and if you just need one star or two to complete a mission, don’t spend more energy than required!

3. It’s all about the people you know
Or, better said, the friends you have in the game. You will meet quite a few in-game characters while playing, but it’s vital to add other players as in-game friends in order to maximize your gains and have an overall better game. Real friends help you increase your single sales, as well as provide extra rewards in missions if you bring them over. The higher their level, the better.

Although I am not 100% sure about this, your Style meter will influence the rewards that you get when you complete missions in the game. That’s why it is extremely important to always keep an eye on your Style and always improve it when you have the chance. Celebrities without style… now that’s not something that often see!

9. Use Your Charm!
When interacting with characters, you will sometimes have the option to use Charm (which generally costs 1 Premium Currency). Make sure you do so every time in order to guarantee the success of your action, otherwise there’s a risk you will fail.

10. Take Your Time
Don’t forget that, just like all the other similar games, Britney Spears: American Dream is a game in which you have to invest a lot of time in order to make it big. So don’t try to rush things too much: you will eventually get there, so take your time and enjoy the ride: design great covers for your singles, build relationships and top those charts. It will happen sooner or later!
