The Theatre Mechanicus event re-run in Genshin Impact is currently underway in the form of Whither the Wind Wends (Enter the Horde) sub-event, part of the major Inazuma event Hues of the Violet Garden that covers the festivities of the Irodori Festival.
In this Genshin Impact guide, we share some tips and tricks on Whither the Wind Wends (Enter the Horde) sub-event while sharing details on how it is different from the previous Theatre Mechanicus.
Whither the Wind Wends (Enter the Horde)
In this new iteration of the Theatre Mechanicus, players have to use Fortune Sticks (instead of Mystic Arts) and other mechanisms to stop the enemy from reaching the portals present on the other end.
To complete Whither the Wind Wends (Enter the Horde), you have to make sure your Fortune Sticks are placed in such a manner that they can trigger reactions like Swirl and others to hold and defeat the waves of enemies.
You can use the stage mechanisms like the Adeptus Bridge to get rid of multiple enemies.
Here are some of the Fortune Sticks that will help you complete Whither the Wind Wends (Enter the Horde):
- Fortune Stick: Vacuum
- Mystic Stick: Falling
- Mystic Stick: Continuation
- Mystic Stick: Reinforcement
- Fortune Stick: Pyro Orb
- Fortune Stick: Embers
- Fortune Stick: Spring Gust
- Fortune Stick: Wind in the Bamboo
- Fortune Stick: Bombardier
- Fortune Stick: Thunder-charred
You only have a limited amount of Veneficus Points at the beginning. So, make sure you are planning your placements accordingly.
