If you pay enough attention to detail, you’ve probably already found the Secret Place during your first visit to Arkant Archipelago—or at least the entrance to it. Unfortunately, you cannot do anything when it comes to exploring this mysterious location until later on in the game.

The first way to find the Secret Place in Arkant Archipelago is to locate a big whirlpool in the southwest area. However, you can’t use the whirlpool without the right item.

Another way to find the Secret Place in Arkant Archipelago is to head to the southwest part of the big island (located in the southeastern quadrant of the map). There, you can find a big, derelict platform with a door that takes you to an underground area. This is the entrance to the Secret Place, which is actually a Phioran village, but if you show up too early, an angry villager turns you away.

How to enter the Secret Place in Arkant Archipelago in Chained Echoes

To enter the Secret Place and get some good loot, you need to do a few things first, depending on your choice of entrance.

In case you want to use the whirlpool, you need to wait until the end of the game approaches before encountering the final boss. You must exit Raminas Tower and reach the northern part of Ograne Grottos, where you encounter a secret merchant. One of the items he sells is the Diving Bell, which gives you access to the Phioran village known as the Secret Place.

If you can’t pass by the angry villager in the cave that leads to the Secret Place, you need to raise the level of your clan to at least rank 3. When you do that, come back, and the villager will recognize your emblem and let you in.
