Where to Find Large Piece of Ore in Wild Hearts
In Wild Hearts, you can find Large Pieces of Ore inside caves and rocky formations in Harugasumi Way, Natsukodachi Isle, Akikure Canyon, and Fuyufusagi Fort locations once you have progressed the game till Chapter 3 or beyond.

That aside, there are no unique mining spots in Wild Hearts that corresponds to a particular type of mineral drop. All the mining nodes in the game have a shared pool. That is, when you interact with a mining node, you can get any one of these minerals:
- Ore
- Corestone
- Lump of Ores
- Large Pieces of Ores
However, as per many in the community, your game progress and difficulty impact the drop rates of these minerals. We can confirm the game progress part as Large Pieces of Ores, and some other ores are more frequent when you reach Chapter 4.
Apart from that, we haven’t found any factors impacting the said mineral drops. That being said, we recommend players use the Tsukumo Ore Shrines to farm the different minerals. You can place them and collect materials over time.
