Fish in Fortnite are a type of consumable item which can be used to replenish health or shield. There are 8 categories of fish including Jellyfish, Slurp Fish, and Shield Fish. These 3 slurp and shield type fish are included in one of the Chapter 3 Season 4 Week 3 challenges in which players must replenish shield by consuming fish. Finding and Using Jellyfish, Shield Fish, and Slurp Fish

All three of these fish types are Rare or Epic rarities. Shield Fish are the only type here that only give the player shield, while the other 2 can also replenish health. Different varieties of each fish type can be obtained using different methods, and fishing in different areas such as desert or swamp.

Slurp Fish

Slurp Fish are an Epic rarity fish that gives players 40 Health or Shield when consumed. There is no limit to how many can be used, so players can consume as many as they need to replenish all Health and Shield.

Slurp Fish are found in Ice Machines, and in Fishing Holes. They are more likely to be caught from Fishing Holes using Harpoon Guns or Pro Fishing Rods.

Jellyfish

These are Rare fish that can be treated like the Chug Splash. When squeezed, they explode their Slurp over any players in the vicinity, giving every player 20 Health or Shield. They cannot, however, be thrown like Chug Splash. They can be used to replenish all Health and Shield just like Slurp Fish.

Jellyfish can be found only by fishing in Fishing Holes. It is best to use a Pro Fishing Rod or Harpoon Gun, but a regular Fishing Rod would suffice.

Shield Fish

The Shield Fish is the only one out of these 3 fish types that only provides Shield replenishment. Players gain 50 Shield when consuming a Shield Fish, and can consume 2 to replenish full Shield, much like a large Shield Potion.

Shield Fish are Rare, and can be found in Fishing Holes, or in calm waters. They are not too difficult to find, but easier still when fishing at the coast.
