Where to Find Dragonfell Berries in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Despite being a different type of game than the main entries in the series, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin comes with many of the features seen in all the other Monster Hunter games, such as gear crafting and upgrading. As just like in the other games, you will need tons of different materials to do so.

Among the materials needed to craft and upgrade gear are Dragonfell Berries. Here’s how to get them.

Where to Find Dragonfell Berries in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Dragonfell Berries are a little hard to come by, but there are a few handy ways to farm them. These Berries can be obtained by taking out Great Dracophage Bugs, which often accompany the Stygian Zinogre. During the battle, the Stygian Zinogre may summon more bugs to its side, thus increasing your chances of obtaining Dragonfell Berries, which can be further increased with Prayer Pot charms. The Stygian Zinogre can be found in the Guardian Ratha Woods.

If you do not want to take down the Great Dracophage Bugs and the Stygian Zinogre yourself, you can let your Monsties do your dirty job for you via Monstie Expeditions. Make sure to send your Monsties in areas where the Stygian Zinogre may appear to obtain as many Dragonfell Berries as possible. Additionally, you should send Monsties of high enough level to complete the expedition successfully, as you won’t get any berry, or any other reward for that matter if the expedition fails.
