How to Get Expedition Tickets in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Like every other main entry in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin does feature some multiplayer modes that will let you challenge other players or embark on special quests together. Unfortunately, playing multiplayer modes requires Expedition Tickets, and without them, you will not be able to play with others, and thus you would be missing out a lot of what makes the Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin experience so engaging.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Expedition Tickets become available in Chapter Three, as soon as Monstie Expeditions become available. As this is part of the story, you will unlock them automatically, no matter what.

Once Monstie Expeditions become available, so will Expedition Tickets. These tickets can be obtained at any Melynx Inc. location, which is found in pretty much every settlement in the game. To get them, however, you will need Bottle Caps.

There are three different types of Expedition Tickets which cost different amounts of Bottle Caps. The Expedition Ticket (N) costs 10 Bottle Caps, the Expedition Ticket (R) costs 50 Bottle Caps while the Expedition Ticket (SR) costs a whopping 100 Bottle Caps. Bottle Caps are found in Everdens and by completing quests, so always be on the lookout to find more.

Once you have the required tickets, you can embark on Co-Op quests by checking out the Quest Board in any area.
