Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is coming to a close and this part of the story is ending soon. Week 10 of the Resistance Quests is asking players to help The Imagined speak to the island, and to find and collect items, and destroy IO communications. Find out more below!
Where are the Doomsday Control Keys in Fortnite?
After first visiting the Sanctuary and helping The Imagined patch into the loudspeakers, players must establish a device uplink near The Collider or The Fortress. It does not matter which you do as the next parts of the quest are in both locations.

Both The Fortress and The Collider are dangerous locations to land at so make sure you have loaded up before approaching either of them. The control key at The Collider is hidden under a bridge to the east side of the location. It is always full of IO guards as well as Sloane and Huntsman Saber so be careful! Collect the control key and quickly make your way to the device to glide up and away towards The Fortress.
At The Fortress more IO guards await you so be quick. If you are eliminated you will have to start over. This control key is found by a campfire outside.
This was one of the more tricky parts of this week’s quests so just make sure you get loaded up before entering any of the IO locations to find the control keys. The next set of quests are at Command Cavern so if the storm location is in your favor, move on to that area to find out what to do next.
