When is Genshin Impact 2.7 Update Coming Out?

Genshin Impact 2.7 update, which was going to introduce two new playable characters, namely four-star Kuki Shinobu and five-star Yelan, was indefinitely delayed. The announcement came through Genshin Impact’s official Twitter handle, where the game developers’ HoYoVerse, previously known as miHoYo, shared details on the delay and the associated compensations.

Despite the official announcement of the Genshin Impact 2.7 update getting delayed, we have many enthusiasts who are eager to know when the version 2.7 update is coming out. 

Genshin Impact 2.7 Update Release Date 

At the time of writing this article, we have no official announcement on Genshin Impact 2.7 update release date. On May 5th, HoYoVerse announced the delay in the release of the version 2.7 update. And since then, there’s no new information on the upcoming update.

Many people are speculating the Genshin Impact 2.7 update will release on June 8, 2022. Meanwhile, we also have some rumors that suggest the version 2.7 update can even take July 2022. 

The delay in Genshin Impact 2.7 update has also shown us the cycle of releasing new game content after every 42 days is not consistent. Before, we could predict upcoming updates’ release dates based on the previous update’s official release date and the 42 days release pattern. But now, we also have to keep the delay in mind, which makes predicting the release date an impossible task.
