When Is Coral Island Multiplayer Coming Out? Answered

Coral Island is a laid-back farming simulation game that draws inspiration from classics like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. During its Kickstarter, it boasted of offering full-fledged multiplayer mode. But players found the Multiplayer mode missing when the game went into early access on PC on October 11, 2022. Seeing that, many players in the community want to know when is Coral Island Multiplayer coming out.

When Is Coral Island Multiplayer Coming Out?

When writing this article, there is no official release date for Coral Island’s Multiplayer game mode. However, players can expect the said mode to release in Q4 2023 or later. 

Coral Island is currently available in early access on PC. Per its development roadmap and official FAQs, the game will remain in Early Access for at least a year, and a full Multiplayer support update will be released after the game comes out of early access. 

As per the Roadmap, along with the full Multiplayer mode, the update will also add Mod Support, an update on Kids growing up, and Island Hopping. So if things go smoothly and according to plan, we may see Coral Island Multiplayer mode releasing at the end of next year or during Q1 or Q2 2024. 

Here is what the devs had to say about the early access end period, “Coral Island will be in Early Access until we (the developers and you, our early supporters) are happy with the amount of content and level of polish the game has to offer. We expect this phase to take about one year but may take longer, depending on player feedback. Please continue to check our roadmap for more information!”
