The horror and gore in DOOM, but make it… cute? That’s what Mighty DOOM is all about. This upcoming game for iOS and Android devices promises to take players to animated mini-versions of DOOM worlds, where they can shoot at demon hordes to their heart’s desire.
The protagonist of this top-down shooter rogue-lite game is Mini Slayer, a DOOM Eternal collectible toy, who is on a quest to save their pet bunny Daisy from toy-like demons. Players will get to customize their character, equip three different upgradeable weapons, and alternate between them as they run through demon-infested areas. As they advance, they face more and more challenging bosses that DOOM fans are already familiar with, like Hell Priest and Baron of Hell.

When does Mighty DOOM release?
The next game in the DOOM franchise was announced in 2021, with early access allowed in certain locations soon after. After a couple of years without any news on the gate, the announcement trailer dropped on Feb. 21, 2023 revealed that Mighty DOOM is finally coming. The game releases officially on March 21, 2023, at least in most countries.
Developed by Bethesda’s Alpha Dog Games, this cutesy take on the DOOM universe is currently in a pre-registration phase, which ends on March 19, 2023. If you plan on checking this game out, you can sign up on Google Play (Android users) or on the game’s official website (iOS users).
