When you start the game, you will have an Ender Chest in front of you, in which there will be different things that are responsible for each Origin.

  • Enderian Origin allows you to teleport with the Ender Pearl as many times as you want. This will help a lot in exploring the world. However, when you get wet you start taking damage. So underwater biomes are not available to you, and you will also receive rain damage.
  • Merling Origin, on the contrary, will turn you into an underwater inhabitant. You can breathe underwater, see well underwater, and swim fast. However, when you are on land, you have a supply of air in the form of bubbles, which will be depleted until you are back in the water.
  • Phantom Origin offers you two modes: normal and invisible. While you are in normal mode you will burn, but in invisible mode, you will spend hunger.
  • Elytrian Origin will give you Lightning Wings right from the start, you won’t be able to take them off and properly equip anything else in that slot. However, after a short cooldown, you will get a Rocket to take off with ease. You will also get slowness and weakness when you are in low ceiling areas.
  • Blazeborn Origin allows the player to try to survive in the Nether. You won’t take any damage from lava or fire, but the mobs will still attack you.
  • The Origin Slime allows you to jump two blocks high. Also, when your hearts run out, you will turn into a small version of yourself, with halved health, just like the Slimes.
  • Avian Origin will give the player an increased movement speed and a reduced fall speed. However, you cannot eat meat.
  • Shulk Origin immediately gives the player an extra inventory and nature protection, but you can’t use shields, and you get tired quickly.
  • Feline Origin gives players the ability of cats. You can jump higher and further, see in the dark, and have 9 hearts in total.
