The Among Us update, which launched on November 9, 2021, has brought some fantastic new features and a whole new way to customize your Crewmate. In addition, there are new roles for Crewmates and Imposters, in-game currencies, and the epic Cosmicubes. Even the Store has had a total makeover. When you next load up Among Us and tap the dollar sign to enter the store, you will see a completely new layout. Find out all about it below.
What’s in the New Store?
The new store has everything you could possibly want to unlock or purchase in one place. Each section has its own tab:
- Bundles
- Hats
- Skins
- Visors
- Pets
- Nameplates
- Cosmicubes
- Stars
They can all be purchased with Beans (earned during gameplay) or Stars (premium currency bought in the Store).
Bundles: Bundles of items are purchasable with Stars. Prices range from 20 – 30 Stars. There will possibly be additional seasonal bundles added in the future, but right now, the bundles include Airship, MIRA, and Polus collections of hats, outfits, and pet bundles.
Hats: These items of clothing are purchasable with Beans. Prices for hats range from 150 – 250 Beans. They are basically all the hats already available for free, but in different colors.
Skins: Skins are purchasable with Beans. Skins are little outfits for your Crewmate and currently cost 300 Beans. In the store right now, there is only the Doctor and the Dark Scientist skin, but more will be added in the future.
Visors: Visors can be purchased with Beans. They currently cost 100 Beans. The visors range from different colored ‘Dum’ signs, eye patches, glasses, and visor effects like cracks or smiley faces.
Pets and Nameplates: Right now, there are no Pets or Nameplates to purchase separately in the Store, but check back at a later date and there should be some added!
Cosmicubes: Cosmicubes can be purchased with either Beans or Stars. They contain a range of either premium or standard items to customize your Crewmate with. The prices currently range from 2600 – 3000 Beans or 70 – 90 Stars.
Stars: Stars are a premium in-game currency. The prices for Stars are: $1.00 for 20 Stars, $2.99 for 30 Stars, $4.99 for 50 Stars, $9.99 for 110 Stars, and $24.99 for 300 Stars.
