What are Cosmicubes in Among Us?

The latest Among Us update is here and with it comes a whole host of exciting items and features. Players can now use in-game currencies (both free and purchasable), assign roles to Crewmates or Imposters, and unlock cool new customisations with the Cosmicubes. As with any other new features and mechanics in a game it can be a bit confusing so let us tell you all about the new Cosmicubes in this comprehensive guide.

What Are Cosmicubes?

Cosmicubes are pathways full of cosmetic items for you to unlock as you play. Each individual Cosmicube holds a cosmetic item and can only be unlocked using a specific Pod. These Pods are earned while you play a game of Among Us, and only if you have activated that specific Cosmicube. For instance: if you want to unlock a cube in the Mira Cosmicube path you must first activate it before starting a game. Find this option in the Wardrobe, or in the Store.

Select the Cosmicube tab and find any Cosmicubes you have purchased. Activate the one you want to earn Pods for before the game starts by tapping ‘Activate’.

Play your game as normal and then when it ends you will see how many Pods and Beans you have earned.

In the image above you can see I earned 138 MIRA Pods because I had the MIRA Cosmicube activated before I started a game. I have also earned 200 Beans which I can save up to purchase another Cosmicube from the Store! New Cosmicubes can be purchased using Beans (earned in-game) or Stars (purchasable currency).

Premium Cosmicubes cost Stars (so will cost real money), while more basic Cosmicubes cost Beans. They all offer cool new items to customise your Crewmate/Imposter with, and a great incentive to keep playing and earning those Beans and Pods.
