When the Harran Virus broke out, the problem was eventually contained, a vaccine appeared, and things seemed to get better. However, the VGM organization, thanks to which all this chaos was created, continued to secretly improve the virus, and at some point, it leaked outside the laboratory walls and as a result, the infection began to spread rapidly around the world.

With such a scale of the disaster, it became problematic to suppress the outbreak, but it was not included in the plans of the VGM, which decided to fight the problem by bombing the infected territories. This led to the total extermination of all life in large areas, but those who survived managed to adapt to new realities, organizing themselves into small settlements among crowds of infected people. Communication between them is supported by couriers, and the role of one is assigned to the player.
