The game Bramble: The Mountain King may be a fairytale, but forget about the standard Disney stuff you might be used to. The story here is deeply inspired by Nordic folklore and fables, and you uncover more and more of the horror those stories contain as you take on the role of Olle, a little boy looking for his missing sister Lillemore.

It is the home of a mythical creature called Skogsra, who looks like an attractive woman, but with antlers and a tail. What happens if you don’t kill Skogsra in Bramble: The Mountain King?

Skogsra is not an easy boss. That fight has three stages, and there are two things you have to do throughout it: a lot of running to avoid her spells and attacks, and a lot of precise aiming to do enough damage to defeat her in the end.

At the final stage, you need to eliminate the circle of statues or puppets around her. If you succeed, Skogsra falls to the ground, hurt and screaming, and you have to run up to her and stab her several times to get it all over with.

The music and her desperate screams make the ending of this fight quite intense emotionally, and you may consider showing mercy. However, if you don’t kill Skogsra in Bramble: The Mountain King, she will kill you. No matter how worthy of your mercy she may seem in her dying moments, and regardless of how gruesome the task at hand is, this is a kill-or-be-killed situation, so choose wisely.

You need to stab her five or six times when prompted until Olle is completely red from her blood. If you give up after just a few hits or hesitate too long, you will find yourself impaled by her long claws.
