What Do ID Tags Do?

If you’re exploring all of your surroundings, you’ve probably come across at least one ID Tags. They’re little ID cards attached to a lanyard, and each one has a unique name on it. There is a grand total of 50 ID Tags to be found throughout the entire game.

Finding the ID Tags individually doesn’t do anything, but if you manage to find all 50 of them, you’ll be awarded an achievement, just like in the original console version of the game. There is no special in-game unlock for finding all ID Tags, just an achievement, so going for all 50 is really for the completionists out there. Just remember—the Alien stops for no one, not even those looking for ID Tags!
