Many different events occur in open-world locations of Warframe. Thermia Fractures is one of them. You can participate in this event once in a few weeks and obtain some interesting rewards including the Opticor Vandal. However, this event is not that easy to participate in for a new player. Thermia Fractures Event in Warframe
Thermia Fractures in Warframe is a special event on Venus. You might have encountered these fractures during your exploration of Orb Vallis and wondered why they were needed. In order to interact with a fracture, you have to bring a Coolant Canister. This is a special item you can get from Coolant Raknoids. These are mechanical bugs that work as guardians for Exploiter Orb.
Once you got a Coolant Canister, you can bring it to any fracture. Then you need to put it inside the burning fire and defend the canister for 3 minutes. It mostly works as a Mobile Defense mission and upon completion, the canister will seal the fracture. Then you can go and seal other fractures with this canister (up to 4). Once you seal four fractures you acquire a special resource called Diluted Thermia which is needed to start the event’s unique Exploiter Orb boss fight.

Thermia Fractures Event Rewards in Warframe
Thermia Fractures event in Warframe provides players with many different rewards you can obtain. These will be given to you when you get a determined number of event points. Each point counts for each sealed fracture until you reach the maximum of 100 points (100 sealed fractures). The full list of rewards is next:
- The event’s special emblem – 5 points
- Amalgam Shotgun Spazz and Amalgam Serration mods – 25 points
- Amalgam Barrel Diffusion and Amalgam Organ Shatter mods – 50 points
- The event’s special sigil – 75 points
- Opticor Vandal – 100 points
