The Walking Dead: Our World, the innovative AR game set in the post-apocalyptic, zombie infested world is finally here. I am sure you’re enjoying the game as much as we do… and if you are like us, you often run out of money to buy your weapon, perk or Hero card upgrades.

But worry not! We’re here to share a complete guide on how to get more coins in The Walking Dead: Our World and I am sure that after reading you’ll know everything there is to be known about making money in the game and always affording all upgrades.

And even though the coins are only half of the problem (since you need cards as well), we’re taking things one at a time and focusing today on how to make more coins in Walking Dead: Our World. Let’s begin!

Upgrade your Coin Cap
First of all, this is what you should do first if you want to make sure that you don’t waste any money. Remember, if you reach your coin cap and you collect more coins, they are lost. Therefore, you should keep your Coin Cap upgraded at all times.

In order to do so, you will have to find and upgrade Morgan’s Go Bag, which isn’t the easiest thing in the world, but it is something that you should focus on in order to make sure that your hard earned money stays with you and is not wasted.

Groups are your friend
This is probably the best and easiest method to get some free coins in Walking Dead: Our World, and do it extremely fast. You do it by helping your group mates complete the weekly challenges, and the more active you and they are, the better!

This is because you will not only earn coins when you complete the challenges, but when your group mates do it as well. The challenges themselves are varied and there’s a lot of them to complete – no matter if you’re a higher level player or just started playing, but one thing is clear: you need to be part of an active group in order to maximize your earnings, so don’t hesitate to spend some time searching for the right one.

Clean out Infestations
The second best way of making more money in the game is by cleaning Infestations. This is also a bit more difficult, but not impossible. On the contrary.

Unlike Normal Encounters, the Infestations reward you with coins based on the number of waves you complete out of a maximum of three. The good news is that you receive coins for each wave that you finish, so even if you don’t manage to fully defeat the Infestation and get the card reward, you still receive coins.

Therefore, make sure to answer Flares to get Infestations and keep an eye out for them on the map in order to get as many as possible done. If you really need some coins quickly, this is the best way to get them!

Complete Missions
Although not all missions reward you with coins, some of them do. We have both daily missions – which you should obviously try to complete each day – as well as the regular missions which are ongoing and you should make sure that you keep an eye on the requirements, completing them ASAP.

Get a Trading Post Nearby
Dropping off survivors rewards you with a nice amount of coins (more as you level up), so having a Trading Post nearby is a good idea. You should place it close to your home or any other place that you visit at least once per day in order to make everything easier and earn more money quickly.

Buy More Coins
I know that this is not what most people want to do, but that’s what you end up doing if you have some money to spare and you really want those coins right now.

The golden rule of thumb here is that the more you spend, the more coins you get for your dollar, but it is up for you to decide what’s the limit and how high you can go. Remember that it’s just a game, in the end, and you shouldn’t spend your food money on getting coins in it! But if you have some to spare, it’s definitely the quickest method!
