This means that not only gamers will no longer be able to download the game but also that all those who have already downloaded it won’t be able to play it any longer, as all save data will become unusable. On a related note, all IAPs will no longer be available later this month, on July 29th.

Tales Of Phantasia iOS is a free to play version of the first entry of the Tales Of series. The game, while being a good port, is damaged by the way Bandai Namco implemented the free to play mechanics, which make the game unplayable without investing some real money into it. Even on Normal difficulty, the game requires some huge amounts of grinding for players to be able to defeat the many bosses of the game. Tales Of Phantasia iOS will be removed from the App Store on August 28th. All save data will become unusable on that day so make sure to complete the game before then if you’re enjoy the free to play Bandai Namco title.
