Surgeon Simulator, the wacky simulation game developed by Bossa Studios, has finally been made available for iPhone today. This means that all wannabe surgeons who don’t fear a little blood will be able to operate on their patients on the go. All those who have already purchased the iPad version will be able to play the iPhone version without having to purchase it.

Surgeon Simulator on iPhone plays like the iPad version, featuring the same controls and gameplay mechanics. The only difference between the two versions is that those playing on older iPhones like 4 and 4S won’t be able to record and upload footage.

A new Surgeon Simulator update has been released back in May for the iPad version. This new update allows players to operate on aliens, leading to some hilarious situations. The update also includes six new transplants as well as improved iPad 3 support and some small bug fixes. If you thought operating on humans was funny, you really haven’t seen anything until you start opening up aliens.

Surgeon Simulator is now available for download on the App Store. The game is finally compatible with both iPhone and iPad devices. All those who have purchased the iPad version can download the other version for free.
