Super Mario Maker 2 finally received a brand new update that introduces some new features and improved multiplayer options, but sadly, it did not add anything new to the Course Editor, so creators are still stuck with the tools that have been available since release. Thankfully, it seems like this is going to change in the future.
Nintendo recently confirmed on its official Twitter profile that Super Mario Maker 2 is going to receive new updates in the future which will add new course parts. Very little has been said about which parts may be added, but creators will surely find some clever ways to use them in their courses.
Super Mario Maker 2 has been released a couple of months back on Nintendo Switch. The game improves on the experience introduced by its predecessor in every possible way by adding the course elements to play with, multiplayer features and more.
Super Mario Maker 2 also features a Story Mode which allows players to complete over 100 levels created by Nintendo. These levels are the perfect way to learn how many of the course elements work and how to implement them in custom courses.
With a potentially infinite amount of courses, Super Mario Maker 2 is the game to get for fans of the Super Mario Bros. series who not all want fresh content at all times, but also may want to try their hand at creating unique courses.
Super Mario Maker 2 is now available worldwide on Nintendo Switch.
